Twitter - now I tweet

just to mention that I am now on Twitter. A few years back there was someone pretending to be me on it 'the official roddy woomble twitter page' he called it - I suppose it was flattering in a post modern, creepy sort of way, but now i have a page, or a nest, or whatever it's called, so I can keep those who want to know up to date with news on gigs & songs and some choice hand picked quotes. Wayne (my webmaster) will set up some sort of link to it I'm sure. He's in charge of these matters.

Stirling Tolbooth
Recently started listening to your solo albums and was thrilled to see that you are coming to Stirling on Friday. I work as a doctor at Forth Valley Royal and have just finished an A+E rotation which was honestly the most stressful thing I think I've done. My boyfriend surprised me with tickets to see you at the Tolbooth as a wee celebration that it's all over. Looking forward to getting into the Christmas spirit. P.S Thanks for chilling me out when I had 30 patients buzzing through my head - you're a life-saver! x
